Vicki Lynn Corbett (Worthen), 68, was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, and loyal friend.
She was born in Okinawa, Japan on July 17, 1955 to Boyd and Norma Worthen. Although an Army brat as a child, she called Las Vegas her home for more than 50 years. She graduated with honors from Clark High School in 1973 and attended BYU in Provo, UT. In 1992, she met the love of her life, Scott Corbett, and was blessed to be a mother of 6, grandmother to 22, and was excited to soon welcome her great grandchildren.
She was a hard worker with a strong work ethic and retired from Sierra Health Services after over 30 years. She spent her days serving others through her callings and enjoyed being surrounded by her loving family and friends. She believed in true service and gave of her heart and time willingly. She led by example and believed in her Savior, Jesus Christ, who became the standard of truth by which she lived.
She had many talents and loved to experience new things. She loved her time at the beach surrounded by family, monthly get-togethers with life-long friends, gardening with and walking hand in hand with her husband.
Vicki is survived by her six children, Jeff Corbett, Bethany (Jeff) Swanbeck, Stephanie (Johnny) Johnson, Mindy (James) Phelps, Heather (Cory) Payne, April (Adam) Garvin, her eleven granddaughters and ten grandsons, and her brother Rusty. She was preceded in death by her husband, Scott Corbett, granddaughter Kapree Payne, and brothers, Lee and Jim Worthen.
