Vicki Lee DuBose (Leavitt)
December 26, 1961 – October 21, 2025
Vicki Lee DuBose, 63, of West Haven, Utah, passed away peacefully on October 21, 2025, after a courageous battle with kidney failure.
Born on December 26, 1961, in Ogden, Utah, to Beth and Roy Leavitt, Vicki grew up with a deep love for family, faith, and hard work. Gifted with an eye for beauty, she shared her talent in her early career running a flower shop, creating arrangements that brought joy to many.
Vicki also built a thriving business with her late husband, Charlie, owning and operating their automotive shop, Charlie's Service, in Sunset, Utah, for over 25 years. Together, they created a life full of love, adventure, and shared dreams.
A devoted Christian, Vicki's faith was the foundation of her life. She attended many different churches and participated in mission trips, sharing both her time and her heart with others. She faithfully prayed for the needs of family, friends, and even strangers. Her generosity and kindness were a reflection of her belief in living out God's love every day. In her final days, Vicki's trust in the Lord gave her strength and peace, and she faced her passing with grace, knowing her eternal home was secure.
She had a passion for travel, visiting destinations across the globe-including Israel, Egypt, New Zealand, Switzerland, and many Caribbean islands. She and Charlie also loved exploring the United States in their RV and on their motorcycles.
Her home was always filled with warmth-especially at Christmas, when she carried on the family tradition of making homemade chocolates for everyone to enjoy.
Vicki is survived by her son, Justin DuBose (Mandee); daughter, Jamie Pickett (Kevin); brother, Mike Leavitt (Lisa); sister-in-law, Terri Leavitt; four grandchildren, Brandon DuBose, Montana McCowen (Tyson), Charly Pickett, and Austin DuBose; one great-granddaughter, Ridgelee McCowen; and her beloved Yorkies-Gracie, Hope, and Faith. She also leaves behind many cousins, nieces, and nephews who loved her dearly.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Beth and Roy Leavitt; her husband, Charlie DuBose; and her brother, Brad Leavitt.
A viewing will be held from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. on Monday, October 27, at Leavitt's Mortuary & Aultorest Memorial Park, 836 36th Street, Ogden. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m., with interment to follow at Aultorest Memorial Park.
The family wishes to thank all who have shown love and support during this time, with a special thank-you to the Swain family, New City Church, and CNS.
"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith."
- 2 Timothy 4:7
