Vicki Sue Forrest

Vicki Sue (Myers) Forrest, 74, of Louisville KY, passed away on the 25th of January 2023, surrounded by her loving husband, Dale Forrest, and two daughters.
A baby changed everything in the fall of 1964 when Vicki and Dale married and began their life together on the 29th of January 1965. Today is their 58th wedding anniversary.
Vicki dedicated her life to catering to those she loved and those of her community. She was the heart and soul of Jewish Hospital's cafeteria for 23 years and cared for and enjoyed feeding the younger generation at DuPont Manual's cafeteria for 11 years. She catered countless weddings and made dreams come true for young couples.
Vicki was preceded by her parents David and Hazel Myers. She is survived by her husband, two beautiful daughters Sue Ann Carrillo (Mario) and Dawn Duffy (Tom), her three brothers David, Mark, and Jeff, her grandchildren Matthew, Kevin, Forrest, and Liam, and finally her great-grandchild Cooper.
Her funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 1, 2023, at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway with entombment at Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
Visitation will be from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Owen Funeral Home.
