Vicky “Gummer” Lynn Perry, 53 years old, made her journey to the Creator on October 25, 2025 at the Ae Kuakwaache Care Center in Crow Agency, MT. She passed away due to complications of liver disease.
She was born on August 18, 1972 to Victor Perry and Faye Shegonee-Perry in Poplar, MT. And on April 28, 1988 her first daughter, Alisa Marie Perry was born. And exactly ten years later he second daughter, Shelby Rose Renz was born on November 4, 1998. She also has two grand-daughters, McKenzie Faye and Kendall Susan Charbonneau. She loved these two little ones with all her heart and soul.
Vicky attended Poplar Schools, and Chemawa Indian Boarding School in Salem, OR. She later went on to attend Anaconda Job Corp Center where she successfully earned her GED and received her Painting Certificate, both of which she was very proud of doing.
She was a single mother most of her life, however in her final years she returned to her first love, the late Levi Crowe. The couple remained together until his passing in 2022. Throughout her life she worked at Siverwolf Casino and for Nancy’s Housekeeping. She also volunteered for the Poplar Senior Citizen site and the Poplar Headstart Center.
Vicky enjoyed listening to music, watching movies and playing her favorite keno game; Cow vs. Alien at the Buckhorn Bar. But perhaps her most favorite past time of all was walking to go visit family and friends. One could always see her walking throughout town, usually with a large blingy purse which she swung from side to side.
She is survived by her daughter Shelby Rose, two sisters LeeAnn & Lisa Perry, and one brother Louis H. Montclair, all of Poplar. Her nieces, Kaylyn Perry and Troylynn (Rob) Brown, of Williston, ND, and a nephew Schon M. Youngman (Alyssa) of Poplar. Her grand-daughters McKenzie and Kendall Charbonneau, and Eva Joyce Figueroa all of Brockton, and Faylene Tommy Granbois of Poplar, and grand-sons Matthew Yuzuzzapi, Ft. Kipp and Colston Red Eagle of Poplar. Also, her favorite grand-son Zeke Jack Brown of Garrison, ND. Aunts, Vernita Buckles, Wolf Point, Leta Atkinson and Irene Wilkinson, Poplar. A very special auntie Marian (Bruce) Montclair-Johnson, who was like a second mother to her. And uncle Clyde Perry, Ft. Kipp. Her cousins, Charley and Vern Red Elk, Silas and John Montclair, Jo’e and Robin Youngman, Jaylee and Zack Atkinson, Marilyn Marottek, Joyce Simons, Val Moran, Susi Perry and Allen and Donelle Buckles. Also, Donica Nanez, Mary Ann Rodriquez, and Sheryl Bonilla of Chicago, IL and the Marquez brothers of Wisconsin.
Vicky is preceded in death by her parents Victor and Faye Perry and her daughter Alisa “Bones” Perry, and her close friend Levi Crowe. Aunts Nancy, Carol and Bonnie Clincher, Shirley Perry and Madeline Moran and Catherine Shegonee Rockman, Laura Shegonee Marquez, Barbara Shegonee Marin and Verna Shegonee. Uncles Stephen James Clincher, and Adrian Perry. Cousins Thomas Montclair, Clifford Country, Randy Red Elk, Robin Perry and Kelly Crowe, Vincent Moran Jr, Robin “Bobbi”, Andrea, Joni Perry, and Lois Moran.
She has numerous extended family members including the Clinchers, White Eagles, Four Bears, Black Dogs, Half Red, First, and McDonalds all of Ft. Peck. And the Shegonee and Rodriquez of Chicago, IL and the Marquez of Wisconsin. If we left out anyone we apologize.
Vicky you are now in Paradise with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, our parents and your daughter. We will miss you every single day of our lives.
