Mrs. Vicki Moon Riley, 78 of Laurel Fork, VA, passed away on Wednesday afternoon, November 19, 2025, at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC. She was surrounded by her faithful and loving family. Mrs. Riley was born in Alamance County on February 8, 1947, one of two daughters born to the late Wayne and Martha Cox Moon. She was a retired beautician with many years of dedicated service to her family and customers. An inspiring journalist and song writer, Mrs. Riley loved to sing and worship her Lord and savior. She attended Shepherd Assembly Church in Ocean Isle Beach for many years. Vicki had a gift of being a community minister where she would love to talk about her Lord and lead people to the Lord. Mrs. Riley is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, John R. Riley of the home; daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly R. King and husband M. Todd King of Charleston, SC; son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Wendy Riley of Brunswick County; 5 grandchildren, Donald McKeithan, Jr., Kameron R. King, M. Kaleb King, Hannah Riley, and Jake Riley; her sister, Linda M. Miller; and several other family and friends. A service of worship and celebration will be held at a later date.
