Simply Cremation - Green BayVicki Jo (Rew) Salzgeber passed away on November 3rd, 2025, at the age of 54.
She is preceded in death by her step-son, Ryan Salzgeber.
She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Paul Salzgeber, son Trevor Matulle, step-daughter Aimi (Michael) VandenOever, granddaughter Bernadette, brother Michael Rew, parents Rick Rew and Kathy and Gordy Andersen and nephew, Trent Cox (Sloane).
She couldn’t have been more proud of Trevor! He is so kind, thoughtful, considerate and loving!
She was also very grateful for the chance to be a grandmother to sweet Birdie!
She felt so lucky to have Paul to do everything for her!
Vicki graduated from Berlin High School in 1989 and earned an Associate degree from Fox Valley Tech in Avionics Technology. She worked at Gulfstream Aerospace for 23 years where she met so many amazing people!
She adored nature - Specifically birds (hummingbirds), moths, sunflowers, mushrooms, bees, frogs and succulents.She loved her doggies Venus, Bailey and Koko!
Her favorite quotes were:Eat Drink and Be Merry, Get busy living or get busy dying, And in the end, she truly believed: You are stronger than you think you are!
Vicki enjoyed camping, kayaking, music, embroidery and was a lifelong Packer fan.
The Bears still suck!
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that any donations be written to the Humane Society of Waupaca County in Vicki’s memory.
A memorial gathering in honor of Vicki will be held at The Fox Club at the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers Stadium, 2400 N Casaloma Dr Appleton, WI 54913, on November 23 from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Food and drinks will be provided throughout the day, as Vicki wished for everyone to be well-fed and enjoy a good time together. In true Vicki fashion, the Packers game will be shown on the TVs, so all are welcome to stay, relax, and enjoy the game in her memory.
