VICKI LU SMITH, 69, of Chester, Illinois, passed away at 10:29 am, Friday, January 30, 2026 at her residence.
She was born to the late Milton and Louise (nee Monroe) Hofmeister on April 19, 1956 in Lebanon, Illinois.
Vicki married Timothy Smith on December 10, 1983; he survives.
She had worked at Solar Press, Spartan Light Metals and Gilster Mary-Lee Corporation.
Vicki was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Chester, Illinois. She was a former Girl Scout leader. Vicki enjoyed diamond art, puzzles, cross stitching and reading books. She especially loved to spend time with her great grandchildren.
