Vicki Summitt Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Woodlawn Funeral Home - Mount Holly on Nov. 28, 2025.
Vicki White Summitt, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, entered the presence of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on November 26, 2025. Born on February 8, 1945, Vicki's life was a bright, joyful tapestry woven with faith, family, and a generous spirit that touched everyone she met.
A longtime resident of Mount Holly, North Carolina, Vicki was known for her warmth, her laughter, and her unwavering love for those around her. Her world was rich with the simple joys she cherished-tending to her garden, surrounding herself with her favorite shade of green, hunting for the best bargains, and curating an ever-growing collection of purses that sparkled just as much as she did. Anything that shimmered or glimmered seemed to find its way into her hands-and into her heart. She also had a soft spot for ice cream and adored her faithful dog, Lilly, who was always by her side.
Most of all, Vicki loved Jesus, and she lived her life reflecting His kindness and compassion. Her faith was the anchor of her home and the legacy she passed on to her family.
Vicki is preceded in death by her father, Luther White and her mother, Annie (Bowman) White. She is survived by her devoted husband, Albert "Butch" Summitt; her only son, Kevin (Renee) Summitt; and her four grandsons, Josh (Beverly) Summitt, Jordan (Alyson) Summitt, Jared (Katie) Summitt, and Cody Summitt. She also leaves behind four precious great-grandchildren-Isla, Warner, Lola, and Saige Summitt-each of whom brought her immense joy.
A celebration of Vicki's life will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at Mount Holly Church of God in Mount Holly, North Carolina. Visitation will be from 10-11 am with a service to follow at 11 am. Arrangements are being handled with care and compassion by Woodlawn Funeral Home. Condolence messages may be sent to the family by visiting www.woodlawnfuneral.org. Memorials may be made to Mount Holly Church of God, 208 Rankin Ave., Mount Holly, NC 28120.

Vicki's life was a beautiful reminder to find joy in the little things, to cherish the ones you love, and to live with a heart full of color, sparkle, and grace. Her light will continue to shine through all who knew her.
She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
