Vickie Peery Obituary
Mrs. Peery passed away Thursday, January 22, 2026, in Leander, Texas. She was born September 14, 1943, in San Antonio to Victor May and Elsie Collier May. Vickie was a lifelong member of the Church of Christ. She graduated from The University of Texas at Tyler and was a teacher for many years at Birdwell Elementary in Tyler.
Vickie was reunited in Heaven with her husband Jerry Peery, son Daryl Peery, sister Barbara Nemec and her parents. She is survived by her loving family including son Terry Peery, son Kevin Peery, 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled from 12:30 - 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at Stewart Family Funeral Home, 7525 Old Jacksonville Highway, in Tyler.
