Judy L. Peery

Judy Lee Peery, 79, of Ashland, Ohio, went home to be with her Lord on January 7, 2026, at Brethren Care Village after a brief illness.
Judy was born on June 16, 1946, in Cleveland, Ohio, to Daniel & Carlene Rowe.
Judy married the love of her life, Jimmy Peery, on September 12, 1970, in North Ridgeville, Ohio. They shared 55 years of devotion to each other, rooted in love, faith, and service.
Judy worked at various clerical jobs in the Wooster area, but her heart beat was for Christian ministry. In 1981, Jim and Judy completed the Ministerial Internship Program for the Church of God. She held several positions in the church, including secretary, financial assistant, keyboard/piano, Sunday School teacher of all ages, outreach visitation team, teacher at a Christian school, Women's Ministry president, volunteer custodian, praise team member, head of Christian Education Board, and pastor's wife. She lived as a testament to her faith, guided by the words of 2 Timothy 1:7, "For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love and of a sound mind."
She is survived by her husband Jimm Peery; son Stephen, of Loudonville; sister Leann (Bill) of Pecks Mill, West Virginia; niece Laura (Brent) Lysek of Eastern, Kentucky; nephew Michael (Tori) Messer of Pecks Mill, West Virginia; great nephews Garrett Price and Gavin Price of Eastern Kentucky; great niece Makaylyn Messer of Pecks Mill, West Virginia, and a host of friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dan and Carlene, and her brother, David (Betty) Rowe.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Monday, January 12, 2026, at 11 a.m. at the Snyder Funeral Home - Lindsey Chapel, Loudonville, with an hour prior of calling from 10- 11 a.m. Rev. Dr. Paul E. Tracey Sr. will be officiating, and burial will follow in Loudonville Cemetery.
