Vickie P. (Morrison) Weatherington of 635 Statesville Blvd. Salisbury NC, formerly of Dunn, departed this life on Saturday, November 2, 2024.
She was born on October 8, 1955 to the late James E. and Lula B. Morrison in Dunn Harnett County. She grew up in Dunn and attended Harnett High School. She later enrolled and worked at Harnett Production Enterprises where she learned assembly and specialized packaging for large Industrial Corporations. Vickie attended Mingo Hill FWB Church where she accepted the Lord as her Savior and was baptized. To be closer to family, she later transferred her membership to McNeil Memorial Reformed FWB Church where she enjoyed singing on the choir and participating in Praise and Worship.In 2006, she relocated to Salisbury, NC where she received specialized care and assistance, and remained there until her recent death. She loved her family and friends in Dunn but took great comfort in her newly found friends, family, and caregivers in the Salisbury community.
She is survived by three (3) brothers; James Ronald Morrison (Ann) of Temple Hills Maryland, Donald Dwight Morrison (Evon) of Sanford NC, Michael Z. Morrison (Gwen) of Deland Florida, and a host of nephews, nieces, and other relatives.
Graveside services will be conducted on Friday, November 08, 2024 at 11am at Resthaven Cemetery in Dunn.
