Vicky Sue Applegate

Vicky Sue Harold Applegate, age 58, of Berea, Kentucky, passed away on October 22nd, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on June 8th, 1967, in Richmond, Kentucky, Vicky was a beacon of joy and kindness throughout her life, always finding ways to uplift those around her.
She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Clay and Thelma Kendrick Harold, along with her brothers, Arnold, Bobby, and Charles Harold.
Vicky leaves behind her sons, Cody (Ashley) Powell and Chris (Melissa) Powell, who will miss her deeply. A proud grandmother, her eight grandchildren, Sophia, Grayson, Lilly, Jacoby, Christopher, Tyler, Logan, and Dristan, were the light of her life. She savored every moment with them.
She is also survived by her loving siblings, Brenda Broaddus, Charlene James, Jackie Harold, Billy Harold, and Patty Saylor.
Funeral services will be at 2 pm, Monday, October 27, 2025, at Lakes Funeral Home with Pastor Stevie Robinson officiating. Burial will follow in the Cartersville Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday from 11 am to 2 pm at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to assist with funeral expenses.
