Vicky Calvert Douglas

Mrs. Vicky Calvert Douglas, age 70, of Chapel Hill, Tennessee, died Tuesday, June 24, 2025 in Lewisburg, Tennessee. Vicky was born in Columbia, Tennessee and was a daughter of the late Edgar Leon and Mary Elizabeth Lovelace Calvert. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Don “Weasel” Douglas, who died in 2003.

Vicky was a homemaker and was a retired florist having worked for 30 years for Chapel Hill Florist in Chapel Hill. She was a member of the Church of Christ.

Mrs. Douglas is survived by her daughters, Beth (J.C.) Chumbley, Chapel Hill, TN, Becky Jones, Chapel Hill, TN; son, Brad (Rhonda) Douglas, Chapel Hill, TN; sister, Betty Lee Taliaferro, Beech Grove, TN; brother, Johnny Calvert, Unionville, TN; grandchildren, Destiny Douglas, Austin Bailey, Abi Bailey, Natalie Douglas; great grandchildren, Warren Cooper, Paislee Cooper, Lakelynn Cooper, Cohen Cooper, Kenna Bailey; and her loving dog “Duke”.

Family members will receive friends on Thursday, June 26, 2025 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home. At her directions and request, sunset graveside services will be conducted at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 26, 2025 at Cothran Cemetery with Ron Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in Cothran Cemetery.

David Harber, Collin Harber, Kyle Underwood, Scott McCormick, Jason Schuler, Austin Bailey, Warren Cooper and Carter Jones will serve as pallbearers.
