Vicky Holder Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by McKoon Funeral Home & Crematory on Dec. 10, 2025.
Vicky Jo Holder, 74, of Newnan, GA, passed away on December 6, 2025. She was born on October 10, 1951, and lived a life defined by love, devotion, and unwavering care for her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Margaret and Joe Moore, and her beloved son, Gregory Enriquez.

Vicky was first and foremost a wonderful wife and mother. From an early age, she knew her greatest purpose was to raise and nurture a family, a calling she fulfilled with grace, strength, and a full heart. She mastered motherhood in every sense-offering compassion, wisdom, and unconditional love to all who were blessed to be in her life.

Vicky is survived by her devoted husband of 35 years, David Holder; her daughter, Amy O'Kelley (Robert); her stepdaughter, April Patterson (Jeremy); and her stepson, Brian Holder (Krista). She was a proud and loving grandmother to Austin, Alexis, Jackson, Addison, Brylie, Bristol, Shelby, Addie, and Ansley, and great-grandmother to Katelyn. She is also survived by her sisters, Nancy Deschepper, Robin Colbert (John), and Kelley Moore; her nieces, Traci Batchelor and Holly McConnell; and her nephew, Jody Dauer.

A cherished member of the Western Heights Baptist Church Women's Bible Study, Vicky found deep joy in faith, fellowship, and the friendships she made there. Vicky loved nothing more than spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a wonderful cook whose kitchen was always filled with warmth, laughter, and the scents of her favorite recipes. She enjoyed gardening, camping, dancing, and karaoke-each a reflection of her lively spirit and love for creating memories with others.

Vicky's kindness, joyful heart, and dedication to her family will be remembered forever. Her legacy of love lives on in the many lives she touched.

A celebration of Vicky's life will be held on Saturday, December 20, 2025 at 11:00 am in the chapel of McKoon Funeral Home & Crematory, 38 Jackson St., Newnan, GA with Pastor Jason Jones officiating. The family will receive friends from 10 - 11 am prior to the service.
