She was born November 14, 1966, in Sturgis, Michigan, daughter of the late Robert R. and Judith Marie (Leeth) Jacobs.
Vicky was a life-long Sturgis resident.
She worked in hotel housekeeping and was a dedicated mother, grandmother and homemaker.
Vicky enjoyed taking rides to see nature and animals, fishing, playing cards and watching football and basketball. She was a loyal fan of the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.
She is survived by her daughters: Cherricoal (Jose) Tapia of Sturgis and Alisha Jacobs of Niles; grandchildren: Auddiana Tapia and Araceli Tapia both of Sturgis and Michael Juday of Niles; step-grandchildren: Daniel Tapia of Goshen, Indiana, Haley Tapia of San Diego, California and Moses Tapia of Sturgis; brother: Michael Jacobs of Niles; nieces: Harley Jacobs of Niles, Haley Jacobs and Kaylee Jacobs both of Texas and nephew: Robert Jacobs of White Pigeon.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother: Jeffrey Jacobs.
In honoring Vicky's wishes cremation has taken place. No services are planned at this time.
The Hackman Family Funeral Homes of Sturgis is entrusted with the arrangements.
Memorial donations would be appreciated to Hackman Family Funeral Homes, P.O. Box 9, Sturgis, MI 49091 to help with expenses.
