Vicky Rodriguez - 65, was born Wednesday, November 25, 1959, to Rosie Regalado and Nick Perez Sr. in Merced, California. We are deeply saddened to announce that she passed away at home in the early morning hours on Monday, January 13th.
Vicky loved her family with her whole heart. She thoroughly enjoyed family get-togethers, BBQ's, playing games, and laughing (even at herself).
Vicky was generous and always made sure that you were well fed and taken care of. As much as Vicky loved, she was also firm and direct when she needed to be and would always protect her loved ones. Holidays and birthdays were also important to Vicky. She would always go the extra mile to decorate & host parties and celebrate with family and friends. Vicky was also a casino enthusiast and enjoyed spending time with her husband visiting various casinos. One of her last wishes was to visit the casino with her family one last time. And we did!
Vicky is survived by Martin G. Rodriguez, her husband of 46 years. As well as their children, Martin L. Rodriguez, Rosemarie Dumpit, and Anthony Rodriguez. Along with 6 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters, Elida Hawkins, Sofie Coriell, Frances Perez, Rosemary Layton, PJ Loewen and brother Dennis Perez, and many loving nieces, nephews and family members.
Vicky is preceded in death by her granddaughter, Mikayla Rodriguez, mother Rosie Martinez, brother- Nick Perez and sister- Victoria Huerta.
Vicky was much more than a wife, more than a mother, more than a sister and more than an aunt.
Vicky was a unique, loving soul that was deeply loved and will be dearly missed.
