It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Vicky Lee Steinmann, 64, of
Green Bay, WI, on January 7, 2025. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend, Vicky's life was defined by her unwavering love for family, her faith in God, and her ability to bring people together.
Born on April 14, 1960, in Marshfield, Wisconsin, to Richard and Arla Mae Weister, Vicky grew up with a spirit of warmth and kindness that touched everyone who knew her. She attended Eau Claire Technical College, earning a degree in Fashion Merchandising. It was during her teenage years in Marshfield that she met her high school sweetheart and future husband, Terry Steinmann. The two married on July 12, 1980, and embarked on a beautiful journey together, filled with love, laughter, and countless cherished memories.
In 1995, Vicky and Terry began building their dream together, founding Winona Foods in the basement of their home. Through hard work and dedication, they grew the business into a thriving company.
Vicky found immense joy in her family, especially her six grandchildren, who lovingly called her "Nana." Vicky had a deep appreciation for nature, finding peace and fulfillment in gardening, birdwatching, and frequent visits to botanical gardens. She was a woman of strong faith, kindness, and compassion, leaving a positive impression on everyone she met. She loved to travel and explore new places, always embracing life with enthusiasm and grace.
She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Terry Steinmann; her daughter, Heidi (Alex) McEathron, and grandchildren Alexander, Ava, and Lorelei; her son, Kyle (Erica) Steinmann, and grandchildren Ryker, Dax, and Brynn. She is also survived by her brother, Bill (Carey) Weister; her sister, Jennifer (Chris) Castle; her father-in-law, Robert Steinmann; and many other dear friends and family members.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Arla Mae Weister, and her mother-in-law, Roslynn Steinmann.
Throughout her courageous cancer journey, Vicky was profoundly grateful for the love and support of her family and friends. She cherished the gatherings, celebrations, and moments of connection that she so often planned, bringing everyone together with her warm spirit and nurturing heart.
A celebration of Vicky's life will be held on January 25, 2025, from 10:00 AM – 11:45 AM, with a service at 12:00 PM. Services will be held at The Green Bay Community Church, 600 Cardinal Lane,
