Victor Hansen Obituary
Celebration of Life Gathering will take place Tuesday, February 17, 2026 from 4-7:00 p.m. at Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in STORM LAKE. The Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in Storm Lake is in charge of the arrangements.
Victor was born October 7, 1959 to Lowell and Kathryn (Donahoo) Hansen in Cherokee, Iowa. He grew up attending Sioux Valley School in Linn Grove, graduating in 1978. Victor went on to attend Iowa Lakes Community College and studied Auto Body Mechanics.
On April 19, 1980, Victor was united in marriage to Jene Johnson at Riverside Presbyterian Church in Linn Grove. To this union, two children were born: Kyle and Kody.
Victor worked at Alta Body Shop for sixteen years before opening his own business, Ace Body Shop. In his earlier years, Victor farmed with his father, and eventually took over the family farm. In his free time, Victor loved snowmobiling and going for drives with Jene in their Camaros. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Victor is survived by his beloved wife, Jene Hansen of Linn Grove, Iowa; children: Kyle (Jessie) Hansen of Alta, Iowa; Kody Hansen of Sheldon, Iowa; brother: Gary (Judy) Hansen of Estherville, Iowa; sisters: Deanna (Bill) Lund of Norwalk, Ohio; Lisa Kraus of Edwardsville, Kansas; grandchildren: Connor and Kennedy; mother-in-law: Judith Johnson of Linn Grove, Iowa; sister-in-law: Jone (Charles) Driver of Stewart, Minnesota; a niece, several nephews, extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Lowell and Kathryn Hansen; brother: Kirby (Donna) Hansen; father-in-law: James Johnson; and nephew: Colin Hansen.
