Victor Dale Larsen

Victor Dale Larsen, 91, passed away surrounded by his loving family on November 7, 2025.

Born on December 25, 1933, in San Francisco, California, Victor was the son of the late Dale and Alice Larsen. He graduated from Burlingame High School in 1951. After two years of college, he joined the United States Navy in 1954. Victor was commissioned as a Naval Officer in 1956, and he served his country as a Naval Aviator from 1956–1966. After his distinguished career in the Navy, Victor continued flying as an Airline Pilot for Braniff Airlines, Piedmont Airlines, and US Airways.

Victor was united in matrimony to the love of his life, Barbara Ann Larsen, in 1956. They were married for 60 years, until Barbara's passing in 2016.

Victor's passions included his family, whom he loved fiercely; building, flying, and competing in model airplane competitions. He also enjoyed working on and showing his 1954 Jaguar at antique car shows. Victor loved to go on morning walks through his neighborhood and socialize with his many friends. His remarkable character and steadfast devotion to his family and friends made him someone everyone found easy to love and be around.

Victor is survived by his children-Guy (Betsy) Larsen, Gar Larsen, Kristen Larsen Weir, and Dale Larsen; his six grandchildren-Colin Dale Larsen, Dylan King Larsen, Ryan Victor Larsen, Courtney Ann Gutierrez-Weir, Jessica Lucy Chavez-Weir, and Christopher Robert Weir, Jr.; and his four great-grandchildren-Emma Rose Chavez, Alexander Chavez, Jr., Sofia Ann Gutierrez-Weir, and Mia King Larsen.
