Ramón M Delgado Jr.

Ramón M. Delgado Jr. (Mone) of Lewisville, Texas passed away on November 10, 2025.

Ramón was born to parents, Ramón I. Delgado Sr. and Eudelia M. Delgado on August 20, 1939, in Laredo, Texas. He was raised in Encinal, Texas.

Ramón is preceded in death by his parents, his baby Angel, his sister Dora Martinez, and brother Ramiro Delgado, baby Salas Twins, and baby Valerie Campos.

He graduated from Cotulla High School in 1958.

He was drafted in 1963, and stationed in Ft. Hood, Tx with the 1st armored division, and proudly served his country in the United States Army as a Tank Driver.

He worked for International Paper Company for 32 years.

His hobbies were watching his favorite football team, The Dallas Cowboys, and he liked listening to Tejano and Country music. He loved watching his western shows, The Price is Right, and Hee Haw. He especially loved to scratch off Lotto Tickets. He enjoyed having family gatherings. His favorite meal was fried chicken from Golden Chick!

Ramón recently celebrated his 59th wedding anniversary with his beloved wife, Maria!

He is survived by his loving wife Maria and his four children, Rachel (Arturo) Campos, Delinda (Leo) Pena, Liza Salas, Ramón (Melinda) Delgado III. They were the pride and joy of his life, he is also lovingly remembered by his 8 grandchildren, Becky (Eric), April, Jesica, Alyssa, Isaac, Pilar, Gabriel, Izzy and his 3 great granddaughters, Emilee, Elanora, and Daphne. He is also survived by his sisters, Olga (Jose) Quiroz, Edna Cortez Delgado and his brother, Roel (Elsa) Delgado.
