Victor Gabriel Martinez, 44, of LaGrange, passed away Tuesday, at UNC Heath Wayne. He was born June 13, 1981 to Abel Oceguera and Juana Martinez in Chicago, IL. He was preceded in death by maternal grandfather; Enrique Martinez Rodriguez, paternal grandfather and paternal grandmother; Salvador Ocequera and Maclovia Valenciana.

Victor loved his wife and children so very much. He was a very big family man. Becoming a father again at the age of 42 made him full of pride. His family staying close to each other and loving each other was very important to him.

He loved serving his country in the military in the United States Air Force and did that for 24 great years. Victor was an Aerospace Ground Equipment Troop for most of his career then switched to become a Hydraulics Troop.

Victor possessed a smile that stretched across his face for miles. He would light up a room! He enjoyed laughter, always telling jokes and picking on people in a playful manor. .

Victor had a good soul, a huge heart and was genuinely a great human being.

Remembering Victor by his smile, laughter, his jokes, how much he loved to be happy and bring people together would be one of the greatest tributes to him. We love you Vic!
