Victor Manuel Silva late of Newark born on February 23rd 1966 passed away May 31st 2025 at the age of 59. The firstborn of 5 children to Marlene Nascimento DaSilva and Manuel Luis F DaSilva. Victor was known for his witty charm. Always making his siblings Carlos DaSilva, Francisco DaSilva, Andre DaSilva, and Gorete Dasilva along with anyone around him laugh. He was kind and compassionate, never afraid of lending someone a hand no matter what it was. Victor was our guy for anything, the smartest of the bunch able to learn and fix just about anything you can imagine. The most notable trait Victor had was his love for his family. His nieces and nephews Andreya Carvalho, Nicholas Dasilva, Steven Dominguez, Diego Decarvalho and Nyla Marlene Hopper, were everything to him you could see it in the way he was willing to do anything they'd ask. Victor never had children of his own but he sure loved his nieces and nephews like they were his own. He was a man of many hobbies and talents with the greatest heart, almost impossible to love. We will mourn the loss of a wonderful son, brother, uncle and friend for a while because he is truly irreplaceable. One thing is for sure Victor earned his wings and can now be our guardian angel. The Dasilva family loves you forever Victor. Your friends and family will miss you deeply, rest in eternal peace.
Family and friends are invited to the visitation Sunday, June 8 from 12:00pm-4:00pm.
The Funeral will be held Monday, June 9 at 8:30am.
Internment will take place at Arlington Cemetery in Kearny.
