ROCKY MOUNT - Victor Manuel Soto Gonzalez, edad 61, falleci* el Viernes 5 de Agosto del 2022. Naci* en Guadalajara, JAL, Mexico un 26 de Septiembre de 1960, fue hijo del finado se*or Pascual Soto Acosta y de la finada se*ora Maria Elena Gonzalez. Lo presiden en muerte sus hermanos, Salvador Soto Gonzalez y Eduardo Soto Gonzalez.
Victor fue un gran amigo que disfrutaba de su tiempo en compa**a de sus familiares y amigos, su car*cter era humilde, sencillo y demostraba su cari*o a todos jugando, bromeando y gastando de vez en cuando bromas a sus sobrinos y amigos, ayudaba desinteresadamente a las personas, amaba la naturaleza, a los animales*amaba a su perro Coco*. siempre te daba algo como regalo pensando en ti como si tu lo necesitabas, manifesto un amor incondicional por su familia en Mexico. Y por sus hijos una preocupacion por su bienestar en el futuro donde queria verlos realizados en todo, tanto en lo acad*mico como en lo familiar, sent*a una profunda nostalgia por el bienestar de sus hermanos(a) y el deseo de saber que estaban bien. Victor fue parte integral de la familia espiritual Victoria en Cristo, amado y apreciado por todos, donde tambi*n apoyaba con su sonrisa y animo al sevicio de cualquier cosa que se necesitaba y con su frase que siempre le caracterizaba. *no pasa nada* cuando en ocaciones le ocurria algo. Victor siempre estar* en nuestros corazones y memoria.
Victor es sobrevivido por su esposa, Maria del Rosario Martinez-Ochoa; su hijo, Christian Omar Soto-Martinez; sus hijas, Maria Guadalupe Soto-Martinez y Paula Gabriela Soto- Martinez; su nieta, Gianna Zoe Avila Soto; sus hermanos, Luis Fernando Soto Gonzalez y Guillermo Soto Gonzalez; su hermana, Rosa Elena Soto Gonzalez.

ROCKY MOUNT - Victor Manuel Soto Gonzalez, age 61, passed away on Friday, August 5, 2022. Born in Guadalajara on September 26, 1960, he was the son of the late Pascual Soto Acosta and Maria Elena Gonzalez. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Salvador Soto Gonzalez and Eduardo Soto Gonzalez.
Victor was a great friend that enjoyed his time surrounded by friends and family, his character was humble, simple and he showed his affection to everyone by playing jokes or tricks with his nephews and friends. He selflessly helped others, loved nature and animals "he loved his dog Coco". He always got you something thinking of you as if you needed it, he manifested an unconditional love towards his family in Mexico and for his kids a worry for their wellbeing in their future where he wanted to see them accomplished in everything academically and personal. He felt a deep nostalgia for the wellbeing of his siblings and all their families. Victor was an important part of the spiritual family Victoria en Christo he was loved and appreciated by everyone, with his smile and excitement to help anybody who needed it, with his famous phrase that he always used "no pasa nada" when something would happen to him. Victor will always be in our hearts and memories.
Victor is survived by his wife, Maria del Rosario Martinez-Ochoa; his son, Christian Omar Soto-Martinez; his daughters, Maria Guadalupe Soto-Martinez and Paula Gabriela Soto- Martinez; his granddaughter, Gianna Zoe Avila Soto; his brothers, Luis Fernando Soto Gonzalez and Guillermo Soto Gonzalez; and his sister, Rose Elena Soto Gonzalez.
A Celebration of Victor's Life will be held on Friday, August 12, 2022, at 6:00 PM in the Chapel of Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services with Rev. Jose' C. Lopez C. officiating. Visitation with the family will follow the service until 8:30 PM in the Atrium of Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Victor's memory in care of Jared Cohen, PO Box 7022, Rocky Mount, NC 27804.
