With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Victor Ervin Taylor, a beloved father, brother, and friend, who left us on November 2, 2025, at the age of 58. Born on August 30, 1967, in Rockford, Illinois, Victor spent many years calling Paragould, Arkansas, his home.
Victor was a dedicated worker who devoted much of his life to his job at Monroe, where he earned the respect and friendship of his colleagues. A true workaholic, he poured his heart into his work, but his greatest joy came from his family. He will be remembered as a simple dad who loved his four children-Amber, Shana, Tayvin, and Kaylie-who were the lights of his life.
In his spare time, Victor enjoyed the thrill of deer hunting in years gone by and was known for his love of muscle cars and car shows. His love of cars extended to NASCAR as well, enjoying his recently inherited Dale Earnhardt memorabilia collection. He often spent many afternoons honing his skills working on vehicles, a hobby he cherished. He appreciated the simple pleasures in life, whether it was sharing a cold beer or watching his favorite TV shows.
Victor is survived by his loving children, Amber Greer, Shana (David Greer) Taylor, Tayvin Taylor, and Kaylie Taylor; his grandchildren, Zoey Greer, Zayden Greer, Heaven Greer, Harper Greer, Zane Heddey, Gracey Heddey, and Olivia Greer; his brother, Kenneth (Lynja) Taylor; and his sisters, Lois (Keith) Grooms and Janetta (Ray) Whiteaker. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Victor was preceded in death by his parents, Janett and Kenneth Taylor.
The family will gather to celebrate his memory, sharing stories and laughter as he would have wanted. Details regarding the ceremony will be announced at a later date.
