Victor Lynn Tilley age 57 of Maryville passed away Saturday, November 10, 2012 at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church where he enjoyed being an usher. Victor was an avid fisherman, loved UT Football and animals. He especially loved his cat "Toot". He enjoyed being around people and had a great love for his family and friends. To know Victor was to love him. He truly was an angel here on earth. Preceded in death by his father, Leo Tilley; step-father, Rev. Morgan Phillips. Survivors include his loving mother, Louise Phillips; brothers and sisters-in-law, Dennis and Oletta Tilley, Morgan Phillips, and Mark and Laurie Phillips; sister and brother-in-law, Sarah and Dale Roberto; niece, Cindy Garner and husband, Randy; great nephews, Ryan and Eli Garner; aunts, Inez Hampton and Lura Maye Everhart; uncle, Favis Everhart; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral service will be at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, November 15, 2012 in the Smith Trinity Chapel with Rev. Greg Long and Rev. Ken Abbott officiating. Family and friends will assemble at 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 16, 2012 at Grandview Mausoleum for the entombment. Family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Thursday at Smith Funeral & Cremation Service, Maryville, 983-1000, www.SmithMaryville.com

Louise, so sorry to hear of Victor's passing. I will never forget how he always had a smile for everyone and loved everyone. You're in my thoughts and prayers daily. Victor will be missed by all those who knew him.
