Victoria Marie “Vicky” Bear, 66, of Sioux City, passed away Saturday, February 3, 2024.
Per her wishes, cremation has taken place and no services are planned.
Vicky was born April 3, 1957, in Shelby, Michigan, the daughter of Melvin James and Arlene Marie (Green) Hall. She graduated from Reeths-Puffer High School in Muskegon, MI. After moving to Sioux City, Vicky worked at Hy-Vee as a cashier and in the HPC Department. She also worked at McDonalds, USA Steak Buffet, and retired from the Salvation Army Thrift Store.
Vicky married Melvin Bear on July 8, 2000, in Sioux City. She enjoyed crocheting, playing Solitaire on her phone, and spending time with her granddaughter Kyla.
Survivors include her husband Melvin Bear of Sioux City; daughter Melissa Hembd and fiancé Renee Blair of Sioux City; son Jason Whipple of Sioux City; granddaughter Kyla Miller and fiancé Kevin Evans of Sioux City; a great-grandson on the way: Jaxx; brothers: Steven Hall of MI and Larry (Shawnda) Hall of OK; two nieces; and one nephew.
Vicky was preceded in death by her parents.
