Victoria Ann Hoover passed away peacefully on September 9, 2025, in Cleveland, Ohio, at the age of 66. Born on April 21, 1959, in South Bend, Indiana, Victoria's life was a testament to the power of joy and the strength of family bonds.

Victoria was the daughter of the late Robert and Eleanor Hoover. She grew up in a home filled with love and laughter, values she carried with her throughout her life. Vicky's spirit was a light that shone brightly, touching all who knew her with her humor and compassion.

For over three decades, Victoria dedicated her life to caring for others as a Home Health Aide. Her unwavering commitment to her work was evident in the countless lives she touched. Victoria's natural ability to connect with people, coupled with her genuine concern for their well-being, made her not just an aide but a cherished companion to many.

Victoria's love for her family was the cornerstone of her life. She is survived by her devoted son, Sam Dux, and his partner, Kelli Stevens, of South Bend. Her legacy continues through her adored grandchildren, Elijah, Chloe, Charlotte, Roy, and Lunan, who will forever cherish the memories of their doting grandmother. Victoria also leaves behind her siblings, Kimberly Hoover of Mishawaka and Rick Hoover, along with his wife Carla, also of Mishawaka; her niece Eleanor Easton; and her nephews Michael Steward and Alexander Easton. She was preceded in death by her niece, Angelia Easton.

An outgoing and well-spoken individual, Victoria had the rare ability to light up a room with her presence. Her sense of humor was infectious. She was a caregiver not only by profession but by nature, always putting the needs of others before her own.

In her leisure time, Victoria found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She was an avid player of June's Journey, where she applied her keen sense of observation and love for mystery. But above all, Victoria cherished the moments spent with her family. Whether it was a quiet evening at home or a lively family gathering, those were the times she treasured most.
