Victoria Lee Huling

July 5, 1943 - August 24, 2023

Victoria Lee Huling, age 80, was called by her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to her heavenly home on Thursday, August 24, 2023.


Vicki loved sewing, ceramics, painting, and crafting. While a member of St. Peters Lutheran Church in Petersburg, Michigan, she led the Youth Group, the Junior High Bible class, and numerous Vacation Bible classes. She was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran in Dearborn.


Vicki, and her husband Darrell Sr., became active in the Michigan Foster Care program. Together they provided a safe, nurturing, and loving environment for many children who needed an ear to hear, and arms to be comforted in. Eventually Vicki and Darrell adopted three of their foster children.


A beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Vicki was proceeded in death by her parents Frank and Lucinda (Beck) Foust, her brother Frank Foust Jr. and her beloved husband Darrell Sr.


To cherish her memory she leaves her children, Darrell (Barb) Huling, Cathy (Paul) Baerwolf, Viola Huling and her fiancé Chris Jerry, and Frank (Lenora) Huling, adopted children include Tracy Huling, T.J. (Greg) Huling, and Samuel (Hailey) Huling. 11 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.


Funeral services will be held at 11:00am at Capaul Funeral Home in Ida, Michigan, and with Reverend Philip Baerwolf officiating. The burial will be at Pleasant View Cemetery, 16949 Ida West Rd.


Friends may gather at the Capaul Funeral Home, Ida, MI, Monday August 28, 2023, from 2-8PM. She will lie in state on Tuesday August 29, 2023, from 10 AM until the services at 11AM at Capaul Funeral Home.
