Victoria Jean "Vicki" Taylor, age 86, of Jonesville, passed away at the Henry Ford Jackson Hospital on Wednesday, March 13, 2024. She was born on July 1, 1937, in Tipton, to Leland and Ethel (Renner) Wilson. Vicki married Laurance "Larry" Taylor on May 26, 1962, and he survives.
Vicki attended Onsted School until her senior year, graduating from Addison High School in 1955. She worked for Klein (Vaco) Tool for more than 29 years, retiring in 2000. After retirement, she provided daycare for her younger grandchildren for several years, which she enjoyed immensely. Vicki loved her family dearly and loved to be with them as much as possible. She was a clogger for 30 years, dancing with the Cottonwood Cloggers and the Pure Energy Cloggers. She also liked playing cards with family, bingo, going to the casinos, yard sales and flea markets, reading all types of books and doing puzzle books.
Survivors include her husband of almost 62 years, Larry Taylor; three children, Lance (Angela) Taylor, Michelle Taylor, and Kristin Martin; six grandchildren, Ashley (Asa) Woodbeck, Adam Kesselring, Lauren Kesselring, Chelsea (Luke) Haberl, Caleb Taylor, and Ciara Jade Martin; four great-grandchildren, Vienna Woodbeck, Harriet Woodbeck, Balian Woodbeck, and Theo Haberl; and one brother Bill Wilson.
Vicki was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Sheila Householder, Ann Johncox, and Winona Wilson; and one brother, Lee Wilson.
Cremation has taken place and there will be no funeral services. A celebration of life will be held at a future date. A private family interment will take place at Sunset View Cemetery in Jonesville.
Arrangements are entrusted to Eagle Funeral Home in Jonesville.
