Vida Fairman Obituary
Vida was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother, leaving behind a legacy of love and compassion.
Vida was born on April 21st, 1931, in Aboukir, St Ann Jamaica. She loved God, was kind, strong, loving, determined, and fearless. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, and sewing but had a special place in her heart for cats and birds.
She is survived by children: Robert Fairman, Florence Fairman-Cross, Andrea Fairman, Harry Fairman, Mary Foster, April Lawrence and Oral Fairman, nineteen grandchildren, thirty great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Adolbert Fairman and daughter Dianna Fairman-Campbell.
She will be missed. Her family and friends will forever cherish her memory.
We will begin to leave 9:15 am on Friday. June 27, 2025 from the Gustav J. Novak Funeral Home 419 Barclay Street Perth Amboy for a 10 am Funeral Service at Faith Apostolic Ministries Community Worship Center 310 Sutton Street Perth Amboy. Burial will be at Alpine Cemetery.
Visiting is on Thursday, June 26, 2025 from 7 pm to 9 pm at the funeral home.
