Vincent Borovic Obituary
Vincent G. Borovic Jr. 86 of Middlefield, formerly of Munson, passed away Friday June 21, 2024, at UH Geauga Medical Center. He was born March 26, 1938, in Odranci, Yugoslavia to the late Vincent G. Sr, and Catherine (Sarjas) Borovic. He graduated from St. Joseph's High School in 1956 and received his associate's in business from Fenn College in Cleveland. Vincent served in the US Marine Corps Reserves from 1956 – 1962. He worked as a bookkeeper for many nursing homes in the area and after retirement he was a bus driver for Notre Dame Cathedral LatinSchool. Vincent enjoyed traveling, playing chess with friends, computer games, Cleveland Sports teams, and spending time with family which was everything to him.
He will be sadly missed by his loving wife whom he married September 5, 1987, Linda A. Borovic, his children, Virginia (Dennis) Crumb, Randy (Denise) Jogan, David (Cynthia) Borovic, Merie (Dennis Gruszka) Borovic, Debra (Ken) Girgas, Shawn (Mary) Jogan, Mathieu (Christine) Borovic, his brother, Stephen (Diane) Borovic. He was the grandfather of Nichole, Charlie, Vinny, Christopher, Nate, Dennis John, Bethany, Vinnie, Kayliegh, Luciano, Izabella, Aaron, Joshua, Analisa, Christoper, Catherine, Lindsey, Cheyenne, Emily, Mia, and 23 great grandchildren. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by is son, Vincent Michael Borovic who passed away August 20, 2017, and a daughter, Dianna Rose Louis who passed away July 22, 2013.
Calling hours will be held at St. Edward Catholic Church, 16150 Center St. Parkman, Ohio 44080, Tuesday June 25, 2024, from 10:00 AM until his Mass of Christian Bural at 11:00 AM. Father Jacob Bearer will be officiating. Burial will be in Middlefield Cemetery following the Mass.
Memorial donation can be made in Vincents name to the Alzheimer's Association Greater East Ohio Area Chapter, 70 W Streetsboro Street, Suite 201, Hudson OH 44236
