Foster, Vincent Ellis Fondly remembered as "Casavettie" or to some just "Vettie", graced us with his presence on April 1, 1972, April Fools Day, and departed on May 14, 2006. Vincent was born and raised in North Mpls. He attended Ascension Catholic School, De LaSalle and graduated from Patrick Henry High. He went on to join the United States Army where he was named a marksman and a sharp shooter. Vettie is known for having a ready rap and a quick smile. He will be deeply missed by those who knew and truly loved him. Family was first and foremost. Vincent was preceded in death by his loving mother, Lana Yolanda Voss Foster. He leaves to mourn and cherish his smooth demeanor and respectful nature, his loving father Carey Vincent Foster Sr. (Linda West); his brother, Carey Vincent Foster Jr. (Liza Harris Foster); and his big sis, Anjela Maria Foster; son, Kendarius Talton Foster; daughter, Venecia Foster; nieces, Samara Blair Foster, Jazzmine Blair Foster; nephews, Carey Vincent Blair Foster III and Armohnd Z. Foster; as well as a host of other family and friends. The services will be held Tuesday, May 23, 2006. Reviewal from 10-11 AM, funeral from 11-12 at Estes Funeral Chapel, 2210 Plymouth Ave. N., Mpls. 55411 (612-521-6744). Memorials preferred to the family.

To the Foster Family:

Know that God is with us all as we travel through this journey...Anjela and C.V., I can only say that I too, understand the loss of a Little Brother...If I can offer any support while you try to get through this difficult time please let me know.
