Vincent Gavlik

Vincent Gavlik, 85, of Rostraver, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 15, 2024 in his home. A son of the late Frank and Anne Wasalosky Gavlik, he was born in Bentleyville on June 11, 1939. Formerly of Bentleyville and Fallowfield Twp., he has resided in Rostraver Twp. for the past 32 years. Vincent was a member of the Holy Family Roman Catholic Church in West Newton, the Elks, Moose, American Legion, the Sinnemahoning Sportsmen's Club, and a former member and past president of Nemacolin County Club. He was the co-owner of the former Gavco Company and the co-owner of Frank Gavlik and Sons, retiring after 50 years. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Faye (Carl) Gavlik; three daughters and sons in-law, Sheryl and Joseph Reinhard of Charleroi, Terri and Thomas McElhinny of Moon Twp., and Amy Gavlik of Charleroi; six grandchildren, Amanda Abercrombie, Allison Cupari, Anna Spicher, Sean McElhinny, Sara Slifko, and Steven McElhinny; eight great- grandchildren, Landon, Logan, Wesley, Harper, Liam, Wyatt, Conor, and Noah, and two brothers Robert (Catherine) Gavlik of McMurray and Jeffrey (Jackie) Gavlik of Washington.
