Vincent A. Gentless Jr. of Stratford, NJ, age 67, passed away on September 28, 2022.
Predeceased by his parents, Vincent A. Gentless Sr. and Florence Gentless (née Pasquarella). Survived by brother John Gentless of Stratford and sister Barbara (Andrew) Schallenhammer of Voorhees. Devoted uncle to Stephanie (Jim) Schallenhammer Spingler and Andrew Schallenhammer.
Vincent devoted 40+ years of his life to teaching music in the Gloucester Township School District and at the Mainstage Center for the Arts in Blackwood, NJ. Vincent was a life member of the Stratford Fire Company, as well as an avid Philadelphia sports fan.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Vince Gentless Music Fund, 111 Union Avenue, Stratford, NJ 08084. All proceeds to be donated to the music program at the Ann A. Mullen Middle School, Gloucester Township, NJ.
Relatives and friends are welcome to attend his visitation on Sunday October 2, 2022 from 6:30pm - 8:30pm at Eugene J. Zale Funeral Home located at 712 N. White Horse Pike, Stratford, NJ 08084.
A second visitation will take place on Monday October 3, 2022 from 8:30am-9:30 am at the funeral home, followed by a 10am Mass at St. Luke/Our Lady of Guadalupe Church located at 55 Warwick Rd, Stratford, NJ 08084.
Burial will take place at New Saint Mary's Cemetery located at 515 W. Browning Rd, Bellmawr, NJ, 08031. A luncheon will follow at Il Villaggio Restaurant, 211 Haddonfield-Berlin Road, Cherry Hill, NJ.

I had the privilege to work with Vince for 13 years as Principal at CW Lewis Middle School. During this tenure I got to know Vince on both a professional and personal level. "Vinny " was a great Teacher and a better person. He was beloved by students and staff. His memory will live on by those he touched during his career as a Teacher who truly made a difference. Rest In Peace my friend.

My sincerest sympathies to family members and close friends.
Vince and I worked together for six years or so when I was Principal of the Charles Lewis Middle School and Vince was one of our music teachers. More than that we developed a social friendship that included a host of activities and a load of laughs and great times. Those memories will be with me forever. A most effective teacher in all aspects of the job but perhaps most noteworthy was his ability to relate to his students. He was a favorite with students and staff members alike and a highly respected with all who knew him. May the Good Lord continue to bless him in Heaven. RIP VINCE

I worked with Vince at the Lewis Middle school where he dedicated himself to the children and the staff. It was an honor to work with this gentleman and educator. My condolences to his family.
