Vincent Giarmo Obituary
Born April 16, 1946 in Monroe, Vincent was the son of Vincent and Ann (Gelardi) Giarmo. A graduate of Monroe Catholic Central High School, he faithfully served our country in the United States Marine Corps, receiving the Purple Heart. Vincent was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and then later at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church as well the VFW Post 1138. He enjoyed watching sports especially the Detroit Lions and University of Michigan, watching old movies, boating and fishing.
Vincent leaves to cherish his memory his siblings: Cecelia (Terrence) McGreevy and Steve "Max" Giarmo; nieces and nephews: Michelene (Danny) McKinney, Nathan (Emily) McGreevy, Vincent Giarmo and Benjamin (Abbie) Giarmo; as well as three great-great nieces and nephews: Nicholas Giarmo, Gabriel McKinney and Colin McGreevy. Sadly he was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorial contributions in honor of Vincent may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
