Vincent Perazzo, 75, of
Mahwah, NJ, passed away on December 19, 2025, surrounded by his family, leaving behind a lifetime of memories and a legacy of love, laughter, and dedication.
Born to Luciano and Antoinette Perazzo, Vincent grew up with a strong sense of family and a passion for life. He was a standout athlete at Bergen Catholic High School, where he played football, and graduated in 1967. His academic journey continued with a scholarship to the University of Miami, which set the stage for a life filled with personal and professional achievements.
After completing his education, Vincent began his career teaching history in Florida, but his entrepreneurial spirit soon led him back to New Jersey. In 1976, he opened Dina Parking Corporation in the heart of New York City's iconic SoHo neighborhood. Vincent was a larger-than-life figure in SoHo, where everyone knew and loved "Vinnie." His generosity, charisma, and love of life made him a beloved member of the community.
Vincent's career expanded beyond business, and he became deeply involved in the music industry, co-owning Greene Street Recording Studio, which became a home to many successful recording artists. His work managing the heavy metal band RIOT, overseeing several hit albums and international tours, cemented his place in music history.
Vincent's magnetic personality and sharp sense of humor were loved by everyone who knew him. His ability to offer sage advice on almost anything, paired with his caring and generous nature, made him a beloved mentor and friend to many. He was a man who truly lived life to its fullest and enjoyed every moment.
Beyond his professional successes, Vincent had a rich personal life filled with hobbies and passions. He was an avid boater, a lover of Harley Davidsons, and enjoyed hunting. A true enthusiast of classic cars, he spent countless hours restoring and showing his collection, winning numerous trophies along the way. He relished every ride, appreciating the freedom it brought.
Vincent is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Joyce; his cherished daughter Dina and her husband Charlie; his devoted son Jon and his wife Silvia; and his beloved granddaughter Luciana. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, December 28th, from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm at VanderPlaat Funeral Home, 257 Godwin Avenue,
Wyckoff, NJ. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, December 29th, at 10:00 am at the Church of the Presentation, Upper Saddle River. Entombment will follow at MaryRest Cemetery in Mahwah.
