Vincent (Vinny) Sapone passed away on February 23, 2024, at SECU house in Smithfield with his family by his side.
Vinny was a caring father and an even better grandfather. He would often make up jingles, silly sayings, or dances to entertain others and keep all the kids smiling. He loved so hard that the kids in his life were too spoiled and the pets were too fat, but they were all delighted to have called him theirs for some time. He will be immensely missed, but his impact will live on in the people he was surrounded by during his life.
He is survived by his wife, Jill Sapone, of 18 years; five children and four grandchildren. Vinny is also survived by a brother and many aunts and uncles in New York.
A private family memorial is being held at the family’s house in April in remembrance of Vinny’s life.
