Vincent Lawrence Shuster

VINCENT LAWRENCE SHUSTER, age 85. Loving husband of 62 years to Linda Valerie (Zmijewski); father of Kelly Hendricks (Barry), Amy Shuster, and Matthew Shuster; loving grandfather to Madison Damman (Jason), Kirsten Hendricks, and Valerie Winter.

Vince was a big fan of all sports, especially those his children and grandchildren participated in. If you lived in Chagrin Falls and attended or participated in Chagrin Athletic Association (CAA) games or any Chagrin Falls School games, you knew Vince. He was a coach, referee and a passionate fan. Until the end he was cheering his granddaughter Valerie on in the Maryland Regional Volleyball Quarterfinals (via livestream). His passions did not stop with sports. He volunteered over the years lending his finance skills to the Ohio University Alumni Board, CAA, St. Joan of Arc Church, Chagrin Falls Schools, Chagrin Rec Center, Chagrin Documentary Film Fest and many more. His love of music is reflected in his extensive record collection which he enjoyed on one of his two turntables daily.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate contributions in memory of Vincent Shuster '62 to Ohio University Alumni Association Legacy Scholarship, give.ohio.edu/tribute or to Hospice of the Western Reserve in memory of Vincent Shuster, www.hospicewr.org.

Memorial Service: Saturday, November 22, 2025, at 11:30 am at St. Joan of Arc Church, 496 E. Washington Street, Chagrin Falls, OH 44022. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:15 a.m. until service starts at church. Memorial service will be live streamed, https://www.stjoanofarcchurch.org/mass/eucharist . All are invited to lunch following service.
