Mr. Tracy White, age 61, of Jefferson City, TN, passed away on Thursday, March 27, 2025, at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville, TN. He was born on June 20, 1963, to the union of Sargent First Class Joseph C. and Huesta White in Oklahoma. He attended and graduated from Jefferson County High School. Tracy joined Martha Davis Baptist Church at a young age. He is preceded in death by his parents; SFC Joseph C. White and Huesta Donaldson White; grandparents, Hugh and Beulah Donaldson.
He was once employed at Marathon and the Jefferson City Community Center. At the time of his passing, Tracy was employed at Carson Newman University Cafeteria as General Utility Worker where he had worked for 15 years. Tracy loved coaching and playing baseball and basketball. He coached recreational basketball for several years as he also inspired other coaches to pursue their dreams.
He leaves to cherish his memory, brother, Byron Keith (Stacey) White, of Jefferson City; nephew, Byron A. Brice Murfreesboro; nieces, Whitney White and Ja'Licia White of Jefferson City; special "Little Sister" Kathy Brown of Jefferson City; special cousin, Joan Simon; The Carson Newman Cafeteria family; and a host of cousins and friends.
