On Sunday, July 27, 2025, the angels of the Lord welcomed Viola Dargin, into her eternal home.
Cherishing her memory are her three daughters: Shelia Newton, Charlotte Hawkins, and Mellisa Ann Dargin all of Baton Rouge, LA; three sons: Joseph R Dargin of Baton Rouge, LA, Anthony Dargin of Zachary, LA and Joseph A Dargin of Baton Rouge, LA; three sisters: Elizabeth Caillet of Rayne, LA, Gloria Richard of Iowa, LA and Mary Broussard of Friendswood, TX; fifteen grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
Owens-Thomas Funeral Home of Eunice is in charge of arrangements.
