Viola Miller Obituary
Viola Perry Miller, 92, of Graham, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 9, 2025. She was a native of Alamance County, born on September 1,1933 to Thomas Linnie Perry and Nenah Jones Perry, both deceased. She was a graduate of Eli Whitney high school and Campbell College and retired from Blue Cross and Blue Shield after 34 years of service. During her retirement, she and her husband, Felix enjoyed spending time visiting family and friends, antiquing and both domestic and international travel. She dearly loved and was very active in activities with her Mount Olive Baptist Church family and the Eli Whitney community.
Viola was preceded by her parents, her husband of 59 years, Felix (Buster) Miller and her brothers, Donald W. Perry and Glen R. Perry.
She is survived by her children; Steve Miller and his wife, Linda, Craig Miller and his wife Susan, and Renae Knight and her husband Tony; her grandchildren, Casey Feerst and her husband Joe, Jenny Stones and her husband Brett, Molly Rosborg and husband Matt, Tori Lecky and her husband Thomas, Kiefer Knight and his wife Chasity, Noah Knight, Timothy Johnson and his wife Christy, Crystal Johnson and Sarah Rebusmen and her husband Connor. She is also survived by 19 great grandchildren; Charles, Jasper and Matthew Feerst; Wright, Darrow, Parker and Autumn Stones; Harley, Thomas, David, Heidi, and Harold Lecky; Sawyer, Bennett, Mackenzie and Sadie Knight; Alex and Payton Johnson; Maddison Rebusmen, her dear friend Betty Holland and many other nieces and nephews whom she thought fondly of.
The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the caring staff at Mebane Ridge Memory Care and the staff of Gentiva Hospice.
A service to celebrate her life will be held on Thursday, November 13, 2025 at 2:00 at Mt. Olive Baptist Church by Pastor Travis Bodine with the family receiving friends for a time of visitation beginning at 1:00pm. The burial will be held in the church cemetery immediately following the service.
