Viola "Micki" Wilson

Viola "Micki" Wilson, age 91, passed away peacefully on December 8, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. A devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend, Micki lived a life marked by service, faith, and the gift of making others smile.
Micki is survived by her four beloved children and their families: daughter, Monica and her husband Tom; daughter, Michelle and her children, Katie and John Michael; son, Rob and his wife Sachiko, and their daughters, Rea, Mia, and Kyra; and daughter, Megan and her daughter Nikohl, along with Nikohl's children, Mara and Miles, and her brothers, Joe and Bill McGeeney and their families. Each of them carries her legacy of compassion, humor, and strength.
Dedicated to helping others, Micki served as an Executive Secretary for Vitas Innovative Hospice, where her kindness and professionalism touched countless lives. Her deep Catholic faith guided her daily, and she was an active member of St. Coleman's Catholic Church in Pompano Beach, Florida and recently joined Holy Family Catholic Church in Brentwood, TN. She volunteered regularly, bringing Communion and meals to those in need-always offering comfort, companionship, and a warm smile.
A lifelong learner and teacher, Micki shared her talents by teaching computer classes to seniors at her local library, patiently helping others navigate new technology with the same grace and good humor she brought to every part of her life. Above all, she cherished time with her family. She was a steady presence at gatherings, celebrations, and phone calls, known for her quick wit, impeccable grammar and the well-timed one-liners that never failed to spark joy and laughter.
A Funeral Mass to celebrate Micki's life will be held on December 23rd at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, officiated by Reverend Joseph McMahon. She will be laid to rest in the church's columbarium prayer garden, a peaceful place that reflects her enduring faith.
