Violet Burback Obituary
Beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away on Monday, December 9, 2024 at her home. Age 91 years. The daughter of the late Herman and Rose (Kretz) Boehler,Sr., Violet was born on January 4, 1933 in Saginaw, Michigan. She married Paul Burback, Sr. on September 29, 1950. He predeceased her on January 8, 1993. In her younger years, Violet enjoyed woodworking, fishing, hunting, gardening and maintaining a meticulous yard. For the past 38 years, Violet's life has not been easy; however her life has radiated inspiration and love in anyone that got to know her and that will be her lasting legacy.
Surviving are three children, Paul (Jackie) Burback, Jr., Saginaw; Susan (Michael) Heiges, Saginaw and Maryann Rich, St. Charles; nine grandchildren, Jeffrey (Tina) Schrems, Michael (Monica) Schrems, Steven (Elizabeth) Schrems, Paul (Samantha) Burback, Jessica Bennett Burback, Kyle (Len) Britt, Joel (Jaime) McCree, Zachery Rich, Ian (Alexandra) Rich; 16 great-grandchildren, Sophia, Judah, Roman, Hadleigh, Logan, Chloe, Kaiden, Annabelle, Tessa, Jaxson, Stella, Juliette, Jordynne, Charlotte, Sophia, Liam; her siblings, Gertrude Budd, Caroline (Alden) Roggow, Herman (Joanne) Boehler, Jr., Harold Boehler, Roger (Joanne) Boehler, Rosemarie (Gordon) Campbell; many nieces and nephews. Violet was preceded in death by her sister, Maryann Reis Boehler; her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Richard Budd, Virginia Boehler. The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to Violet's caregivers, Judy, Tami, Stacie, Cheri, Sara and Monique; her health care and hospice team, Jack, Patti, Kayla, Jordan, Rachel and Evie for their loving and compassionate care.
Funeral Liturgy will take place at 12:00 Noon on Friday, December 13, 2024 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 1035 N. River Rd. Rev. Fr. Peter Gaspeny will officiate with interment to follow in St. Andrew Cemetery. Friends may visit at the church where the family will be present on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Holy Spirit Catholic Church or a charity of your choice. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd.
