Violet Denham

A graveside celebrating the life of Violet LeBlanc Denham, 85, will be held at 10:30 am on Friday February 25, 2022, at New River Baptist Church Cemetery, St Amant.

Mrs. Denham was born on November 23, 1936, in Baton Rouge. She was a resident of Gonzales, and passed away Friday, February 18, 2022, at her daughters home surrounded by her family.

She was an exceptional cook and homemaker. Her favorite thing to do was to make her husband, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren feel loved by preparing their favorite meal on their birthday. Violet will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 63 years Riley D. Denham, parents Jack and Lucy LeBlanc, and her brother Carl LeBlanc.

Survivors include her daughter Sandy Lighfoot and son Randy Denham (Rene'), grandchildren Raley, Ryann (George), Ann Marie (David), Regan (Sami), and Thomas, great grandchildren Reese, Dawson, Kenley, Kennison, George Jr., and Julie, her brother Larry LeBlanc, and a host of friends.
