Violet Kerley Parton

Violet Kerley Parton, age 97 of Lenoir City went to be with the Lord on October 29, 2025. She was a member of Stoney Baptist Church, and most recently attended Primitive Baptist Church. Violet loved Jesus with all of her heart and enjoyed gospel music. She was always faithful to sing in the choir. Violet was so proud of her family and would do anything to help and encourage them. She was retired from Yale Security where she worked as a machine operator.
Preceded in death by her husband, Willie Lee Parton; daughter, Angela Parton; grandson, Joseph "Mikey" Stump; parents, George and Elsie Kerley; sister, Ruby Rogers; brothers, Alvin Kerley, Curtis Kerley; infant siblings, Ruth Kerley and George Kerley; special niece, Brenda Shubert.
Survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Gerald Williams; daughter, Gail Raione; son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Linda Parton; son, Jerry Parton; grandchildren: Darrell Williams, Kim Blanton (David), Stacy Key (Chris), Briana Mena (Eric), Andrea Raione, Tammy Parton, Adam Parton, Tonya Arwood, Angela Turpeinen, and Alan Bostic; along with many great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews to include special niece, Linda Plemons.
The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, October 30th at Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. with Rev. Cory Rogers officiating. Family and friends will gather at the funeral home by 10:30 Friday morning and proceed to Loudon County Memorial Gardens for graveside services at 11 a.m. Click Funeral Home, 109 Walnut Street, Lenoir City is in charge of arrangements.
