Violet Schauer Obituary
Violet was born August 29, 1944, at the family farm near Streeter, ND, the daughter of Emil and Annetta (Remmich) Kleinknecht, she was raised by Emma Kleinknecht. She received her elementary education at the Streeter Public School.
She and Marvin Schauer married on March 21, 1964, in Streeter. They made their home in Jamestown where she did daycare for many years.
She was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Jamestown.
She is survived by her children, Donna (Dwight) Herman, Bonnie (Corey) Staloch, Connie (Robin) Harrington, and Danny Schauer all of Jamestown, ND; 7 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren; siblings, Raymond Kleinknecht, Annetta (Sarge) Schuler, Glen (Connie) Kleinknecht, Diane (Clifford) Erickson, Roger Kleinknecht, Charles Kleinknecht, Larry (Paula) Kleinknecht; and 4 sisters-in-law.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin, her parents and 1 grandson.
Funeral Service- 2:00 PM Friday, January 30, 2026 at St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Jamestown, ND, with Pastor Jennifer McDonald, officiating.
Visitation- 1 hour prior to the funeral
Interment- Sunset Memorial Gardens, Jamestown
Arrangements - Haut Funeral Home, Jamestown
