Violet Stelzer Obituary
Grandma to Kelli Stice and David Kurtz.
Great grandma to Adeline Kurtz, Ronin Stice, Eliana Kurtz and Brody Stice. Violet, known to all as Vi, was born in Melrose Park, Illinois, and had 11 brothers and sisters.
Her older brother, Benny, still resides in Franklin Park. She enjoyed baking, cooking, caring for feral cats, as well as her own cats and dogs, spending time with family and friends, shopping and socializing at Jewel Osco along with thrift shops and gardening. Violet was a friendly face around the DuPage Care Center to staff and residents, where she lived out her remaining years. Violet you were a beautiful flower, chosen to bloom in heaven.
In lieu of flowers, we ask that donations in the form of shampoo, conditioner, lotion, blankets, games, or monetary means be brought to the celebration of life to be donated to the DuPage Care Center in memory of Violet.
