Virginia Carol Ann Brey, 89, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 4, 2025. Virginia was born November 5, 1935 in Austin, Minnesota to Vernon and Blanche Brown. She was married to Richard E. Brey on August 5, 1961.
Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Brey; infant daughter, Mary Ann Brey; her parents, Vernon and Blanche Brown; and brother, V. Thomas Brown.
She is survived by her daughters, Kathleen Brey, Sarah (Steve) Rensenbrink and Christine (Doug) Moerke; son, Steven Brey; grandchildren, Jessica Ryans, Gabriel and Georgia Rensenbrink, Grant and Ethan Moerke; brother Richard (Mary) Brown; sisters Suzanne (Kerry) Frederick, Dolores (Larry) Haugen, and sister-in-law Shirley Brown; nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at ST. PIUS X CATHOLIC CHURCH, 3878 Highland Avenue, White Bear Lake, MN, with a visitation for 1 hour prior to the Mass.
Private interment will be held at St. Mary's Cemetery.
Memorials can be given to Our Lady of Peace Hospice or St. Pius X Catholic Church. To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Virginia, please visit our floral store.
