Virginia Ann "Peanut" Bell, age 69 was born on September 17, 1954, in Muskegon Michigan to the late Stanley S. Shank, Sr. and Virginia E. (Spooner) Shank and passed away at home surrounded by her family on July 7, 2024.
Along with her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Stanley S. Shank Jr. and a sister-in-law, Valarie L. Shank. Surviving are her children, Julia J. Coffell, Jason (Sara) Coffell; grandchildren, Anthony D. Bell, Cameron (Felisha) Bell, Jazzmine Bell, Gabriella Coffell, Carlee Rose Marie Forbes, Trinity Scheuneman, MacKenzie Byrnes, Matt Sutton, Jessica (Rodney) Christopher, Jason Coffell II; great-grandchildren, Abbie, MiKenna, Caisen, Alex, Jakob, Fae, Rodney; several siblings including, Michael A. Shank, Patrick B. Shank; sister-in-law, Louella G. Shank; several nieces and nephews.
Virginia enjoyed watching television shows with her grandchildren about Hot Rods and Antique Cars, along with watching Duck Dynasty, and Hallmark Christmas Movies. She enjoyed spending time cooking dinners with her family, especially homemade pizza and wet burritos. Visiting libraries and secondhand shopping were some of her favorite pastimes. She spent the majority of the past two years helping to raise her granddaughter, Carlee. Peanut was an avid book reader and loved drawing blueprints for log cabin homes. She previously attended Shiloh Tabernacle. According to her wishes cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life Gathering is pending.
