Virginia Betlej Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Grace Memorial Cremations and Burials - Clinton Township on Dec. 4, 2025.
Virginia Francis Betlej, age 75, of Clinton Township, passed away peacefully at her home on December 3, 2025, surrounded by her family. Born on November 4, 1950, in Detroit, Michigan, she was the cherished daughter of the late Earl and Eleanor (Grove) Wehrman.
On October 1, 1983, Virginia married her beloved husband, Edward, in Hazel Park
Virginia's legacy lives on through her husband, Edward; her children, Lori Ann Studer of Georgia, James Norbert (Maria) Studer Jr. of Madison Heights, Edward Earl (Jackie) Betlej of Tennessee, and Traci Lynn Betlej of Clinton Township; her ten grandchildren; her great-grandson; her siblings, Douglas (Denise) Wehrman of Sterling Heights and Elaine Rogan of Royal Oak, as well as her many nieces and nephews.
Virginia found pleasure in the simple things. She was an avid Sudoku player. Her afternoons were often spent watching her favorite soap operas. She enjoyed being at home, cooking, and enjoying time, especially during the years they lived on the lake in northern Michigan.
Virginia's passing leaves a void in the hearts of those who knew and loved her, but her spirit will continue to guide and inspire us. Her light will continue to shine in the hearts of her family and all who were fortunate enough to know her.
A gathering and viewing will be held on Friday, December 12, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Grace Memorial, 35135 Harper Avenue, Clinton Township, MI 48035. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 p.m. Rev. Dr. G. Patrick Thompson will officiate.
